Many of my chocolate-inspired creations often grow out of my only annually planned epic meals — the chocolate dinner. This chocolate baguette is no exception. Since I first thought of it, it has made numerous appearances at my chocolate dinners but in varying forms. At this particular chocolate dinner — circa 2009, this chocolate baguette was served sliced, alongside some double-cream brie and goat cheeses. In 2008, it became croutons sprinkled atop a lemony Caesar salad. In 2007, it served as crostini topped with a cacao-beet “hummus”.
